whipped cream and broken tramps... sad day

for megan's birthday we went out to dinner to olive garden... and we saw someone getting a birthday dessert, so i told the waiter it was her birthday... he said alright, do you like whipped cream? and megan said yes. so he brings out this cup with a candle and they sang happy birthday to her. megan doesn't like to just eat whipped cream so she started scraping off the top of it and turns out the whole cup was full of just WHIPPED CREAM.. how ridiculous is that.. i mean i do enjoy whipped cream but not just a cup full, especially if it was my birthday dessert. we laughed about it forever! so don't expect an amazing birthday dessert if you ever go to the OG for your birthday!

 R.I.P. perfect, bouncy, scratchy tramp! you will definitely be missed. My guy friends were visiting and they wanted to jump on the tramp.. well our tramp had had it and we fell right through.. we were all fine except my friend that kinda hurt his knee. i was laughing so hard but then felt sad about having to depart with this tramp that held so many good times over the 25 years we've had it! ya i'd say it's about time we get a new one! goodbye old friend!

the friends hadn't seen each other in awhile so we thought we would make a road trip to hang out for the weekend. courtney and me drove to twin falls which is about 2 hours away from IF. we were so excited to see each other and just hang out and chat for the weekend. miss them too much!

the girls got together for our friend ashley's birthday... she is now 21!! courtney came home from caldwell, id and kaitlyn and ashley came home from twin falls, id. it's always fun to be together.

during the medical assisting program i have become really close with some of the girls in those classes but LAUNA shippen has become one of my best friends. before we even knew each other, we had advanced first aid and medical law and ethics together. i always knew her as the girl that wore scrubs every day to class... i was partly jealous! in our medical law and ethics class, she would always tell this guy that i was not interested in to keep trying to ask me out because he really liked me... she would!! little did we know we would be best friends in the future. we first became friends in our first medical assisting class and we also had lab together. i don't even know how we started talking but we did and then we started studying for every test together... and it was true friendship ever since! ha we have been through a lot together through our year of medical assisting with giving each other shots, drawing each others blood, getting up for class at 7:45 in the morning, studying countless hours (or maybe just 1 for our tests), trying to memorize all of the drugs, ECGs, abbreviations, and instruments, taking a million vitals, trying to finish all of our homework during our other classes, falling asleep watching 17 again, hoping the testing center workers wouldn't notice our hot pink scrubs, being twins to lab, doing pointless billing and coding, and eating lots of doughnuts :)!! she is the most hilarious, sweetest, and most encouraging friend ever! she is seriously the best palster and i'm going to miss her lots! i don't even know what i would have done this past year if she hadn't been with me during the whole program! her and her husband will be moving far away so that he can go to med school but i'm way happy for them and we will always stay in touch!   

we did a bulletin board on how to stay healthy during the rexburg winters... so i thought i would post these pictures to give a shout out for launa!

mesa falls

one weekend, the rents and i ventured to mesa falls. these falls are about an hour and a half away from Idaho Falls. they are the only falls in idaho not used for irrigation or hydroelectric projects... fun fact for everyone! we hadn't seen them before, so it was a fun little trip!

due to the busyness of this past semester i have not been able to even touch my blog for 3 months... although i did excellent on my semester... my blog is lacking now. soooo be prepared for lots of updates and i will just pick up right where i left off.

While kellie was still here during the summer, the barlows came to town for the weekend. we all pilled into the denali and headed over to the hong kong for some dinner.. we had to get a photo op because its me and kel in the front, cooper, ryder and pierce in the middle, and kenedee, kandis and lincoln in the back... what a fun car ride!
