yes... rexburg can get worse!

today i was walking home from class, already a little traumatized from doing blood drawing in our lab. i was minding my own business just crossing the street when THIS THING....

with a crazy police woman inside of it stopped me on the side of the road... (i didn't even know there were such things) and told me i needed to cross on a cross walk which was another half block down and my apartment was RIGHT THERE... i just laughed and said 'Oh alright' shook my head and walked off. I look behind me she already stopped another kid who was crossing as well. the guy in front of me was just as confused as i was, another guy said that the lady was a witch, and the kids on the other side of the street were just laughing at what just happened. i'm glad i wasn't the only one who thought this was ridiculous. (at least i didn't get a jay-walking ticket) rexburg.. you never fail to disappoint!

memorial day

for memorial day, my parents and i went down to utah to visit my grandparents graves. i've always remembered doing this before since it hasn't been too long since my grandparents have passed away. i was really glad we took the time and went to visit them. we went to my grandpa LeGrande's grave in Provo. then we went to my grandma Shirley's grave in SLC and also visited my dad's grandparents and Andrew Jenson's grave (which we are related to) there as well. then we went to my grandma and grandpa olson's graves in bountiful. it was nice to be with my parents and just have time to remember the wonderful grandparents i had. i'm so grateful for them and can't wait till i get to see them again someday. i miss them lots and love them all!

 This is Andrew Jenson's headstone and he is buried right by my dad's grandparents... Andrew's is our favorite because of the awesome granite world that used to sit on top but is now missing, most likely due to annoying kids who stole it... we were quite upset about this and almost couldn't find where it was at.

 we ended the drive home with a huge and sweet rainbow... such a memorial day!

a LOT bit of pinning

i can't.... stop.... pinning.... this quote is my life right now. Pinterest is taking over and i have become addicted all within last night. i always seem to be the last one to hear about all the neat stuff we can do... and now i've started pinning. Most of you know pinterest is a virtual pinboard and you can pin all these awesome pictures of things you love or want or just anything.. i have found a lot of sweet pictures on here. Some of my pinboards are quotes, stuff for my future home, things i would like for my wedding, clothing, etc. plus i found these quotes on there. i love it and i can't stop... oh well!
