even though idaho falls isn't that cool to some people... pro wake boarders still like to come here.. several weeks ago, my friend heard that there were going to be pro wake boarders here at our little lake here in idaho falls. they were also doing a pro demo so that people could go out on their boat and be able to ride with them and get tips on how they can get better. me and the friends that i went with were all in school and we found out about it on the last day so we didn't actually get a time signed up for us so we all jumped in the car and drove to blacktail after class. we almost made it but the boat drove off for the last ride right when we got there. we were still able to meet chad sharpe who is a canadian pro wakeboarder for RONIX and we got to go out on his boat (which is a malibu wakesetter VLX :) and he showed off a bunch of his tricks for us. i didn't get any pics because it all happened so fast but it was so much fun and he is extremely good. i've never been able to see stuff like that before in person so it was a pretty awesome experience. he was way nice and so was his team.. glad we hurried down there for that even though we didn't get to wakeboard.. we should have ditched class!!! (haha jk mom and dad!)
